What is a wedding venue?

A venue is the location, or rather a place, where you can get married and have your wedding ceremony performed. It can be be a hotel, country club or the beach. The location is limited only by your imagination and budget.

You or your wedding planner should book the venue as the first step in planning your wedding. If you are looking at wedding venues in South Florida, then I recommend these below:

The Poinciana Country Club

is in Western Lake Worth and has their weddings run by George W. Hegel Caterer and I loved the food and the decorations were very nice. Their prices seem reasonable as well.

The Holiday Inn Hotel of Boca Raton is nice. If you book the rooms and have the reception dinner there they may allow you to have the ceremony all included in the packaged price. I have done a couple of wedding ceremony's there and the food at Mario's Italian restaurant is great. The menu is not just limited to Italian either. This is a great place for a modest budget.

The Hilton Hotel has 2 beautiful beach locations in the West Palm Beach area.

The South Palm Beach Hilton's (Lake Worth) location is nice. I have done wedding ceremony's there.

The Singer Island Hilton is also very nice and I have performed more than a few wedding services there.

is a beautiful place for a wedding without the stuffy atmosphere. This is a four star facility and they are part of the Red Carnation Hotel chain that has Hotels around Europe and England.

They can host up to 100 people for a wedding event, a rehearsal dinner as well as the reception.
